John Toomey
I am a C-level manager that works with mostly technology-driven companies on a fractional or interim basis. My clients include mostly privately held companies from startups to established companies. My experience is based on strong accounting and finance which lead me to senior management roles in operations and company management. From software and hardware development to building out a state-of-the-art manufacturing operations I have broad hands-on experience in all areas of a business. A strong financial base helps me in all areas I work in.
My success can be attributed to always understanding the details but also being able to interpret them at a high level. Whether it is developing a strategic plan, building out a supply chain, or putting a top management team together my experience and education support me well. Playing off each team member’s strengths always pays off.
I fill in the gaps companies have in their management team and increase the team’s effectiveness and success. My goal is to use my skills where they are needed most. I am also able to step in on an interim basis to fill out a management team whenever a void exists be it medical, family emergency, or the departure of a senior team member.
Having been a CEO I know the complexities of that role and the need to have a resource to bounce business ideas off of and to help problem-solve issues. As a C-level coach, I am able to be an unbiased sounding board for real business issues as well as helping a CEO improve their effectiveness.
When in an Outside Board Member role I can bring objectivity to the board. Putting my broad experience to good use I can be a major player in increasing shareholder value and growing the company.
